Co- curricular activities
Co-curricular activities are a very important department in every school. In bongo girls, this department is very vibrant. The main activities we eng age in include
- Ball games- football, volleyball, handball
- athletics
- music
to run this department, several teachers are involved
- Mr. Wang’ombe- in charge of football
- Mr. Mwangi M.- in charge of volley ball.
- Mr. Mwangi H.- in charge of handball
- Mr. Kanmau- in charge of music
- And we can not forget to mention the effort of our football coach Mr. Ngunjiri who has made us soar to very great heights
Ball games
This is one area that Bongo Girls students have excelled. In football, the girls have made great achievements as follows;
2004- Central Province- finals- Position 3
2005- District Finals- Position 3

2006- Central Province- finals- position 3
2007- Central province- zonal level

2008- District finals
This performance is attributed to the high level of discipline and active participation and the zeal to perform. The school administration has also contributed a lot in nurturing the young talents.
The school program is also made in such a way that the students have enough time to exploit their talents.
Some of the students who have benefited from sports in school include;

- Assumpta mukamu- CDF committee young representative- kinagop constituency
Athletics
Our girls have featured well in athletics ………………………with the girls managing top positions at the provincial level.
In the javelin, we had an upcoming………..in the year 2009 where we achieved position 6 at the national athletics in Eldoret. With more training, we expect we will be the national champions.

Music
Girls are known to sing and dance and this has been portrayed well in all schools. With the coming of Mr. Kamau (H.O.D Science), music in the school has had tremendous growth. For the two years he has been with us, the girls have won several awards and certificates from the district provincial level. This group has created a very good report with the area MP.
Clubs and Societies
We have several clubs in our school. This include,
- The environmental club- headed by Mr. Ngugi (H.O.D humanities
this club has made our school green by planting so many trees and flowers. World tree planting day in June, the club received a reward for their effort in conserving the environment. - Scout movement- headed by J. KIOKO.
This is a very vibrant movement and has held several seminars with the neighboring schools, all in the aim of developing an………………….. - Journalist club
it has managed to create links with prominent journalists and celebrities, placing our girls at a better position of being exposed to varied career opportunities.
In summary
Finally, we cannot forget to appeal to well wishers to come in and promote in the nurturing and developing the young talents. In fact, the football team has a very high interest in joining the copa coca cola cup, only that finances is a limitation. This is the team that any well wisher and sponsor would feel proud to be associated with.
